Measuring your windows

Measuring your own windows may feel a little bit daunting, but it really couldn’t be easier and as you have read above, this is only a rough guide to receive a price, no windows will be ordered from these measurements.

So, grab your tape measure and let’s get started.  You only need two measurements for each window, one for the width and one for the height of the window.  You must measure the distance between the two furthest edges of the existing window frame.  Do not measure the glass itself, measure the furthest edges of the window frames.

When measuring the height of the window, again measure the two furthest edges of the window frame.  If the window has a window sill, be sure to include this into the height measurement as well.
